About

One founder. One drone. Building in public.

TakVector is built in Ontario, Canada, by a working drone-mapping pilot. Drone mapping usually means a laptop, a stack of apps and one person on the sticks full time. Small teams can't spare any of that.

The idea is simple: the shape you draw is the mission, and the result belongs in the tool your team already uses. ATAK already shows where everyone is. TakVector adds a fresh view of the ground from above, without taking anyone off task to get it.

It's early. Every piece shown on this site has been tested on real hardware or is labelled as an animation or simulation. Progress, wins and failures go up on Instagram as they happen.

What comes next

  • Beta with 10 to 20 teams: milsim, preparedness, Meshtastic users, landowners.
  • A simple team map inside the app for people who find ATAK's menus a lot.
  • Meshtastic support for places with no signal at all.
